Four U.S. Marines tragically lost their lives when their MV-22 Osprey crashed during a NATO training exercise in Norway.
They were Capt. Matthew J. Tomkiewicz, 27; Capt. Ross A. Reynolds, 27; Gunnery Sgt. James W. Speedy, 30; and Cpl. Jacob M. Moore, 24 — all dedicated members of the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
Major General Michael Cederholm called them “warriors who served something greater than themselves,” adding that they died doing what they loved.
Their families and fellow Marines now mourn their loss, remembering them as brave, compassionate, and deeply devoted to their mission and loved ones. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
