A red or purple rash on your legs after walking or exercising in the heat could be “Disney Rash” — inflammation of tiny blood vessels from heat and activity. It usually shows up above the sock line, itches or burns, and clears up with rest, cool compresses, leg elevation, and hydration.
But not every rash is harmless. If it spreads, feels hot or painful, or you feel sick, see a doctor right away. Listen to your body — when in doubt, get it checked.
