Uneasy Feelings After Girlfriend’s Surgery

My girlfriend recently had routine leg surgery, but a series of last-minute scheduling changes left me unsettled. Originally set for a specific day, the procedure was moved up twice—once due to a “special situation” with room availability, then again to the very next morning.

I couldn’t be there, but her sister and a friend kept me updated and said things went smoothly. She’s now recovering well, which I’m grateful for.

Still, the rushed and shifting schedule lingers in my mind. I’m not accusing anyone, but when something feels off, it’s hard to ignore.
