Four men taking shelter under a tree during a sudden downpour in a Gurgaon park were struck by lightning but miraculously survived. Witnesses described a blinding flash and deafening boom as the bolt hit the tree, briefly knocking two of the men to the ground.
Paramedics rushed them to the hospital with minor burns and shock symptoms. All are now stable — a lucky escape given the deadly risks of lightning strikes. Officials are urging people to avoid trees during storms and seek enclosed shelter instead.
