Mississippi Teen Killed in Crash with School Bus While Driving to Pick Up Sister

A heartbreaking accident in Panola County, Mississippi, claimed the life of 17-year-old Katelyn Ray early Tuesday morning.

According to authorities, Katelyn was driving along Highway 15 around 7:15 a.m. when she rear-ended a South Panola School District bus. She was on her way to pick up her sister from work at the time of the crash.

When Katelyn didn’t arrive, her family became concerned and began searching for her. Their worst fears were confirmed when the Mississippi Highway Patrol contacted them with the tragic news.
