As search efforts continue in flood-ravaged central Texas, heartbreak deepens at Camp Mystic, a Christian girls’ summer camp near the Guadalupe River.
Out of 750 campers, 23 girls are still missing, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick confirmed. The July 4th floods have already claimed at least 25 lives across Kerr and Kendall Counties, with the Guadalupe River rising to near-record levels.
Families wait in anguish, holding on to hope, as rescuers comb the area for the missing. Each girl has a name, a story, and a family praying for a miracle.
Let us keep them all in our thoughts — and never forget the fragile gift of each day.
