My Cousin Said He Found This Baby During The Flood—But The Building Was Completely Sealed

My cousin in Search & Rescue has seen it all—mudslides, collapsed roofs, near-death dives. But this time was different.

He sent me a photo from his satellite phone: “We pulled the baby from Building 6.”

That building was sealed, padlocked, and long empty. No cribs. No families. Yet in his arms was a baby wrapped in the same fleece blanket our aunt had buried months ago with her stillborn grandson.

I stayed quiet—until my cousin called.
