Melania Trump, poised and polished as ever, stood beside her husband at the Capitol as he took the oath of office to become the 47th President of the United States. Before their return to the White House, Melania released a book simply titled Melania—and it didn’t take long for it to climb the ranks and become a New York Times bestseller.
Now stepping back into the public spotlight, Melania has announced a new documentary with Amazon. Filming began in December 2024, and the project is set to premiere in late 2025, both in theaters and on the streaming platform. There’s also a companion documentary series reportedly in the works, backed by a $40 million licensing deal, according to Puck News.
In a recent appearance on Fox & Friends, Melania explained the motivation behind the project: “There was so much interest after the book. This will show a more personal side—what daily life looks like, how I’m rebuilding my team, packing up, moving in, and making the White House feel like home again.”
Her signature style hasn’t changed. “I always wear what I like and what’s appropriate,” she told Elle. For the inauguration, she wore a custom navy coat by Adam Lippes paired with a classic boater hat by Eric Javits.
While some fashion houses distanced themselves from her during her husband’s first term, French designer Hervé Pierre has continued working closely with her. He’s acknowledged that the American fashion industry can be politically divided, but noted that many European designers still see dressing her as a professional opportunity.
