Separately, Manhattan prosecutors obtained his video testimony from the E. Jean Carroll defamation case, where he was found liable for sexual abuse and ordered to pay $5 million. That footage could be used in his March 2024 trial over alleged falsification of business records tied to a hush-money payment to Stormy Daniels. Trump maintains the investigations are politically motivated and insists on his innocence.
