It started as a calm afternoon by the pier — until fishermen pulled a massive, strange-looking fish from the sea. People rushed over, snapping photos and cheering at the rare catch.
But when one fisherman cut open its belly, the crowd fell silent. Inside was a smartphone, slimy but still working.
They pressed the power button — and a video appeared. A man on a boat, shouting for help as waves crashed around him near the same cliffs behind them. Then, the screen went black.
Later, locals discovered the phone belonged to a man who’d vanished in a storm three weeks earlier.
