Elon Musk stirred up controversy during a recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, where he took aim at Jennifer Lopez for supporting Vice President Kamala Harris at a Las Vegas rally. Musk, a well-known Trump supporter, questioned Lopez’s credibility by bringing up her past relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs—who’s currently facing serious charges, including trafficking and racketeering.
“J.Lo and Diddy were a thing, and now she’s against Trump?” Musk said. “She never spoke up about Diddy before. How can we take her seriously?” He also slammed the music industry, suggesting that insiders turned a blind eye to Diddy’s alleged behavior: “They had to know and still said nothing.”
Lopez hasn’t publicly addressed the allegations against Diddy. However, she has spoken out against Trump in the past and has shown strong support for Harris, especially after comedian Tony Hinchcliffe made offensive remarks about Puerto Rico. “We need to speak up and vote,” Lopez said back in October 2024.
Joe Rogan chimed in, noting that several celebrities once close to Diddy are now endorsing Harris, pointing to a broader shift in celebrity alliances.
The exchange has reignited debate about political endorsements, personal accountability, and whether public figures should be more transparent about their past connections.
