Taking Matters Into My Own Hands
When a woman put her feet on my husband’s seat, I knew I had to act—quietly. First, I used a small water trick, letting a few drops fall on her feet. Startled, she pulled them back, giving us a brief peace.
Later, as she tried again, I shone my phone’s flashlight on her feet. Embarrassed, she finally kept them on the floor.
For the rest of the flight, we enjoyed calm, quietly victorious. Standing up—even in small ways—can make all the difference.
