A man locked his dog in a car during extreme heat: to save the animal, I smashed the window — and then something completely unexpected happened

I Broke a Car Window to Save a Dog — No Regrets

It was blazing hot when I saw a German Shepherd locked in a car, panting and fading fast. A note with a number was on the windshield. I called. The owner coldly said, “She has water.”
The water? Sealed in a bottle.

I didn’t wait. I smashed the window, pulled her out, and helped her cool down.

The owner returned furious and called the police — but after seeing the dog’s state, they fined him and thanked me.

She’s safe with me now. Loved, fed, and resting.

Animals feel pain. And I’d do it all over again.
