A frightened little boy secretly called 911, whispering that his parents were “in the room.” Officers rushed to the house, expecting the worst.
Upstairs, they found the parents holding a small wooden box. The boy had overheard their emotional conversation and thought they were fighting. In reality, they were discussing the will of a recently deceased relative.
The officers reassured the child: he hadn’t done anything wrong. “If you’re ever scared, it’s always okay to call for help,” one told him.
