Air India Flight Crashes After Takeoff in Ahmedabad
Tragedy struck Thursday when an Air India Boeing 787 with 242 people onboard crashed minutes after leaving Ahmedabad for London. The pilot had issued a Mayday call before the plane went down near Ghoda Camp, where witnesses saw fire and heavy smoke.
Rescue teams rushed to the site, but officials fear there are no survivors. Air India’s chairman expressed deep sorrow, offering condolences to grieving families. The cause remains under investigation.
