In Church, I Noticed An Adult Woman Who Many Tattoos And Body Piercings, And It Made Me Uncomfortable

Tattoos, Church, and a Wake-Up Call

A woman felt uneasy seeing someone at church covered in tattoos and piercings. Thinking it was inappropriate, she told the woman to tone it down—only to be met with, “It’s none of your business how I look.”

Wondering if she was too old-fashioned, she asked others for their thoughts. Most responded with a clear message: faith is about acceptance, not appearances. As one person put it, “Better tattooed and in church than not there at all.”

The message? Come as you are—faith has no dress code.
