Two years ago, Charity weighed 350 kg. She couldn’t walk, shower, or even sit up without help. Her husband, Tommy, preferred her that way — he loved caring for her and saw no problem with her condition.

But the turning point came when Charity looked at her 19-year-old daughter — already 150 kg and fully dependent — and realized she had passed her food addiction on.

That moment changed everything.

Charity checked into the hospital, began therapy, learned about nutrition, and lost 20 kg in two months. At 290 kg, she had stomach-reduction surgery. Over the next year, she lost another 200 kg. Her weight now sits at 150 kg.
