Kate Middleton “exhausted” after cancer treatment, claims expert

After undergoing cancer treatment last year, Kate Middleton has begun easing back into public life. Though she’s now in remission, the Princess of Wales says recovery has been far more difficult than expected.

Speaking at Colchester Hospital in early July, Kate reflected on the emotional toll of life after treatment. “You put on a brave face, but the phase after is really hard,” she admitted. “You’re not under medical care anymore, but you’re not back to normal either. It takes time to find your new normal—it’s a rollercoaster.”

Despite her recent public appearances—like Trooping the Colour—Kate has been selective about which royal events she attends. She skipped the Royal Ascot, reportedly due to exhaustion. A royal source shared that she’s now “strict” about her schedule, balancing her health, family, and long-term projects like her Early Years initiative.

Behind the scenes, Kate remains active: taking nature walks, practicing photography, playing piano daily, and even returning to ballet with Princess Charlotte. Royal expert Neil Sean says she’s focused on living in the moment and avoiding drama.

Though she may not always be visible, Kate continues her royal work quietly, engaging in virtual meetings and charity outreach, all while prioritizing what matters most—her health, her children, and a simpler life.
