Trapped by rising floodwaters, they climbed to the rafters and held on — to hope, to each other, to life. Piers and Ruffin, your bravery is a miracle.

Brothers Piers and Ruffin Boyett came terrifyingly close to tragedy when flash floods tore through Texas. While staying at Camp La Junta, the boys found themselves trapped as water rushed into their cabin in the middle of the night.

With no time to think and the flood rising fast, they climbed into the rafters — clinging to hope in the darkness, not knowing if they’d make it out alive.

But they did. And their survival is nothing short of a miracle.

Well done, Piers and Ruffin. Your courage and quick thinking inspire us all. ❤️🙏
