Donald Trump has been declared in excellent health by White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella, according to an April 2024 medical report. At 75 inches tall and 224 pounds, Trump underwent a full check-up, including a colonoscopy that found a benign polyp and signs of diverticulitis. He also had cataract surgery and takes medication for cholesterol, heart health, and a skin condition.
The report described his physical and cognitive health as “robust,” and Trump claimed to have passed a cognitive test with flying colors. Still, concerns linger. Psychologist Dr. John Gartner and others have pointed to Trump’s gait, balance issues, and motor changes as possible signs of frontotemporal dementia.
Though officially cleared, the debate over Trump’s health—and his fitness for office—continues.
