At this year’s Trooping the Colour, 10-year-old Princess Charlotte touched hearts by wearing a diamond horseshoe brooch once gifted to her by her late great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. The brooch, a symbol of the Queen’s love for horses, was previously worn by Charlotte at the Queen’s 2022 funeral.
Charlotte, dressed in light teal, mirrored her mother, the Princess of Wales, who wore a blue Catherine Walker coat and accessories once owned by the late Queen. Together, they paid quiet tribute to her enduring legacy.
The event marked King Charles’ official birthday, featuring military parades, a Red Arrows flypast, and the Royal Family’s balcony appearance. The King, undergoing cancer treatment, rode in a carriage instead of on horseback.
Notably absent were Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Prince Andrew—reflecting Charles’ vision of a more streamlined royal family.
