In late May, the TikTok community lost one of its most courageous young voices. Nineteen-year-old Anna Grace Phelan passed away on May 23, 2025, after a short but brave battle with an aggressive brain tumor. Her family shared the heartbreaking news through her TikTok account, honoring her strength, unwavering faith, and the impact she had on so many lives.
Just a week before her passing, Anna Grace posted her final video. In it, she humbly thanked former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow for sending her a care package and shared an emotional update about her condition. She explained that the tumor had grown in a location that made it hard for her to breathe and impossible for doctors to operate. Still, she remained hopeful and asked her followers for continued prayers—believing in the power of faith even in the face of grim odds.
Anna Grace was born in Orlando, Florida, and had just graduated high school. She was planning to start college in 2024 and worked at a local cancer clinic. She was also deeply involved in her church community, where her spirit and kindness left a lasting impression.
She was diagnosed in late 2024 with a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer known as diffuse midline glioma. Despite the devastating news, she chose to document her journey openly—sharing both the hard moments and her unwavering hope. What started as numbness soon became something far more serious, but Anna Grace faced it all with strength and grace that inspired thousands.
Her family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation in her memory.
Anna Grace’s story touched hearts around the world. She reminded us all how to live with courage, compassion, and deep faith—even in the darkest of times. She will be deeply missed, but her light continues to shine in the lives she touched.
Rest in peace, Anna Grace.
