Twin toddlers drown after grandmother with Alzheimer’s leaves door open – rest in peace

A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded in Oklahoma City when 18-month-old twins, Locklyn and Loreli, drowned in their family’s backyard pool. According to reports, the toddlers slipped outside after their great-grandmother, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, may have accidentally left a door open. Their mother, Jenny Callazzo, later found them unresponsive in the murky water.

The family shares the home with six children and other relatives. Police are treating the incident as a tragic accident and continue to investigate. Just days earlier, Jenny had shared a photo of the twins with the caption, “just want to play outside.”

A GoFundMe has been set up to help cover funeral and medical costs. Safety experts are reminding families that drowning often happens quickly and quietly, and they urge precautions like secure pool fencing.

The loss has devastated the local community, with many people reaching out with prayers, love, and support for the grieving family.
