Country music icon Reba McEntire just shared some big news — and fans couldn’t be more excited.

The 69-year-old superstar is officially returning to host the Academy of Country Music Awards for a record-breaking 17th time, solidifying her spot as the show’s most frequent host ever.

While country legends like Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks have also taken the mic, no one does it quite like Reba.

“I am tickled to pieces to get to host the ACM Awards for the 17th time!” Reba said in a statement. “What an honor to be part of the past, present, and now the future of the Academy of Country Music with Amazon Prime Video. I can’t wait to get to Texas and see everybody on May 16th!”

ACM CEO Damon Whiteside couldn’t agree more. “No one has a deeper or richer history with the Academy than Reba,” he said. “With new music on the way, a strong TV presence, and fans around the world, Reba’s back and better than ever!”

But that’s not all…

Reba also surprised fans on Instagram by announcing she’ll be performing brand-new music during the show. “Oh hey @ACMawards, have you missed me?” she teased. “I can’t wait to host this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards… I’ll also be performing brand-new music during the show!”

Naturally, fans lit up the comments:
