I pulled the small body of a bear cub out of the water, but what happened to me shortly after was a real shock

As I walked by the river, I noticed a small bear cub floating in the water. At first, I thought it was just playing, but as I got closer, I realized it wasn’t moving. My heart dropped. I pulled it out, hoping it was still alive — but it wasn’t.

Then I heard a deep growl behind me. When I turned, a huge mother bear stood there, eyes filled with rage. She thought I’d hurt her baby.

She roared and charged. I dropped the cub and ran, but she caught me, her claws slicing across my back. Somehow, I escaped into the woods and collapsed on the road, shaking.

That day, I learned a painful truth — nature’s laws aren’t ours to break.
