A tense scene unfolded inside a Florida Walmart when 32-year-old Brandy McGowan, high on meth, began threatening shoppers and staff with a brick and a pocket knife she had just taken from the shelves.
Deputy Christopher Witte and Detective Pamela Thomas confronted her in the clothing section. Despite repeated commands to drop the knife, she refused. Witte eventually used his Taser, knocking her down so officers could cuff her.
Authorities later confirmed McGowan had ingested about four grams of meth earlier that day. Thankfully, no one was injured during the frightening encounter.
