Anthony Edwards Dominates Lakers and Trash Talks Fans in Game 1 Blowout
Anthony Edwards wasn’t just lighting up the Lakers with his jump shot Saturday night — he was also delivering some serious trash talk to their fans.
Viral footage from Crypto.com Arena shows the Minnesota Timberwolves star getting into it with some L.A. supporters during Game 1 of their playoff series. As the Timberwolves held a commanding lead, Edwards could be seen exchanging some fiery words courtside.
In the clip, Edwards brags to a fan about teammate Rudy Gobert’s massive contract — then takes things up a notch with a bold (and explicit) comment about himself.
“My d***’s bigger than yours,” he shouted, while grabbing at his shorts. “My d*** bigger than yours!”
It’s unclear how the fan responded, as the video cuts off shortly after the exchange. But one thing’s for sure — Lakers fans didn’t have much to celebrate as Minnesota rolled to a dominant 117-95 victory.
Game 2 is set for Tuesday, and it’s safe to say that anyone heading to the arena better be prepared — not just for Edwards’ skills on the court, but also for his unapologetic swagger off it.
