Rob Gronkowski won’t be tossing on a headset for the Patriots anytime soon—but according to him, that’s just fine. He’s fully on board with the current coaching direction in New England!

TMZ Sports recently caught up with Gronk to chat about the Pats, and he couldn’t hide his excitement about where the team is headed this offseason.

One of the biggest changes? The return of franchise legend Mike Vrabel, who’s stepped into a leadership role. Gronk is all for it.

“It’s a special move,” he said of Vrabel’s hiring. “It’s fired up the fans and even the Kraft family.”

Gronk also praised the team’s recent moves in free agency, especially the addition of Stefon Diggs—calling it a game-changer.

“That’s a huge win for New England,” he said. “They’ve been needing a true No. 1 wide receiver.”

But as for getting back into the game as a coach? Gronk’s not interested. He’s more than happy with his current lifestyle and says coaching just isn’t for him.

“I’m not built for that,” he admitted. “I’ve seen what coaches go through—it’s probably one of the most stressful jobs in America.”

Still, never say never—Gronk left the door slightly open for a future coaching role… if he and his partner Camille Kostek ever have kids. In that case, he’d consider coaching youth football, maybe at the Pop Warner or high school level.

So while you won’t see Coach Gronk in the NFL, there might be a future mini-Gronk squad someday.
